Max's 5th Birthday

Our Max turned FIVE in February.  Five is a big boy!  He chose a "minion" birthday.  We had fun making these cupcakes!

And don't forget little brothers, who are a big part of birthdays!

We had four friends over for a little party, Ibrahim, Gordon, Jason and Gregory.  Max always throws his hands in the air when he's excited, as you can see in a lot of the pics on this post!  He was a happy happy kid!  We always look forward to birthdays for a long time!

We kept things simple, pizza, cake and then we watched Despicable Me 2.

Max's Aunt Jessica helped at the party, she took this photo and put it on Instagram.

That same weekend, we celebrated again with a family party.  Here we all are!

Sean was right by his side, he was a good sport about everything, as long as he got to be close to the action!

I'm pretty sure Jared is making sure the smoke detectors aren't going to go off!

He got this Superman toy, a Batman submarine, and a lot of Legos for his birthday.  It was the first time any of my boys have had the real, little Legos.

The family had fun putting them together.

At Preschool Mrs. Michelle made Max a birthday crown that he wore all day and brought home.  We sent banana bread for Max to share with the kids that day, his favorite treat!

Isn't he so handsome??
