Sean's Blessing Weekend Part 1

My parents, my sister and her three kids came out for Sean's blessing the first weekend in August. It was our big thing this summer since we didn't travel to Utah, we were so excited. We picked up Grandma and Grandpa Wright at the Long Beach airport. Max still talks about taking them to and from the airport and the tunnel you go through to get there. They arrived Thursday night. My sister's family didn't arrive until Friday night so I had my parents all to myself on Friday. They helped with some things around the house and came along for some shopping. That night we went to the Irvine Spectrum where we rode the Carousel.

While out shopping, my parents bought Max his first bike. My dad put it together. Max always loves helping with the tools.

My Sister Becky and her kids slept over at Jared's parents. They arrived at our place Saturday morning. Nathaniel, her oldest, was so excited to meet Sean, they have the same birthday!

Later all of us hit up the beach at Corona del Mar. It was packed of course being one of the last Saturdays of the summer but luckily we found a little spot. I told my mom to come visit in the winter because often we'll go to CdM and we're practically the only ones there!

It was also our 7 year anniversary, my mom took this shot to commemorate the day.

Nathaniel found this super long piece of sea weed. He and the girls held it up to their hair pretending they were Rapunzel from Tangled.
