Our summer so far has been amazing, so full of things that summers were made for
- a trip to Provo over the 4th of July.
- my little bro Jonathan visiting us, we took him surfing for the first time and he was a pro!
- the day he left my older brother Brendan arrived with his wife Shera and their two kids Courtney and Alex, they stayed for the weekend
- The day they left my two sisters arrived, Becky and Annie, along with Becky's kids Nathaniel, Julia and Eliza. They've been here all week and we still have a day and a half left.
It has been such a party full of laughs and hugs. It really doesn't even matter that our apartment wasn't really meant for 8 people at once! Max loves playing with his cousins all day. He hugs them constantly. This morning Julia and Eliza were waiting for Max to wake up and he was unbelievably excited to have them greet him first thing! It was so cute.
SO . . .
Sorry for the lack of posts, I may catch up some day! Max is 16 months and is understanding so much of what we say these days, he is getting pretty good at eating with utensils too!
We still have so much more of summer to enjoy, Aunt Jessica visiting next week, a camping trip to Yosemite, and more nieces and nephews visiting in August.
Hope you're living up your Summer of '10!

Yeah for visiting family! Hope you have had so much fun.
Hooray for all the summer fun!! I can't wait to hear about Yosemite... I've always wanted to go!
Wow, that sounds like our summer in a way! I'm getting so far behind in my blog and also my journal because of the summer and moving/settling into a new home, visitors, and vacation coming up! Glad you're living it up, Emily.
So sweet that Max loves his cousins. It always melts my heart when my kids are totally delighted by another child.
