Sean LOVES to feed himself and is really good at it! Now I give him little soft pieces of everything. I didn't give Max Cheerios until he was 10 months!
Isn't it so funny how we're so careful with our first babies, and often underestimate what they're able to do? I was the same way with Benjamin. He didn't even get rice cereal until he was practically 7 months, and then I was really wary of solids for a while. Cheerios seemed like such a choking hazard! Glad Sean likes his!
