We love our little community garden! Some mornings when we have no where to go but we MUST get out of the house, we head over here. We look at all the "hi-ho guys" (aka lawn gnomes that remind Max of the seven dwarfs) and other garden decor. We've also had fun finding cabbages lately, we love Peter Rabbit books, and he loves cabbages. This must have been a Saturday, because Jared is with us!
This really isn't the best shot, but you get the idea. . .
Some of our favorite hi-ho guys.
Our Plot. We planted spinach, lettuce, cilantro, strawberries and a lime tree this winter. A few peppers are still holding out from last summer. The lettuce has been the biggest success.
My friend Shaunie's pretty tomatoes.

The fact you have vegetables growing outside in February is amazing. Our season starts sometime at the end of april. Enjoy your awesome garden.
The tomatoes that are no more! I planted new ones yesterday and hope we can get a better garden year than we did last year. Tomatoes before October would be nice. :) You guys should plant some carrots, we pulled up our fingerling carrots yesterday and the kids LOVED it.
